During the 2015 racing season PKRE tested, developed and improved several different nitrous plate systems, improved our direct port tuning and fabricated an effective water delivery system. Here’s a little more information on one of our new products.
PKRE tracked tested our new Burst H20 System on the General Lee driven by Troy Pirez Jr. during the past year of racing. By introducing vaporized water very high in the intake tract, the water particles combine with the air creating a more natural saturation and more effectively controlling the rate of burn in the chamber.
Our kit includes the carb fitting, water pump, water tank and tubing. Kits sell for $600.00 plus shipping. Kits will be ready to ship by mid August.
Stay warm with winter with a new PKRE Sweatshirt available in three styles or give one as a Christmas gift. I also have a few beanies available.
A while ago, Thomas Aurthur called and said he had an idea for a billet cross bar plate with built in burst panels . He said he needed some help with channel placement and orifice sizing. So we sent Cad drawings back and forth and he worked through the concept to actually building this part. Before you know it the first two prototypes showed up at PKRE for plumbing and flow testing. We added a billet base trash can from Speedtech and a .185 bottom exit fuel solenoid from Nitrous Outlet. Tommy built some cool billet distribution blocks for it and we bent some lines on put it together. The solenoid bracket is in the middle of the plate and makes plumbing easy and also free’s up some room. It’s currently being track tested but looks very promising so far. I will keep you up to date on where it ends up.
